Veteran Homemaker & Home Health Aide Services

At Angel Visiting Hands LLC, we are proud to support Veterans by providing compassionate Homemaker and Home Health Aide Care in the comfort of their homes. These services are designed to help Veterans who need assistance with personal care and daily living activities remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.

Our trained caregivers assist Veterans with everyday tasks while promoting dignity and quality of life. Although Homemakers and Home Health Aides are not nurses, the care provided through Angel Visiting Hands LLC is supervised by a registered nurse who helps assess each Veteran’s needs and ensures the appropriate level of care is delivered.

This program is designed for Veterans who may need help with activities of daily living, are experiencing isolation, or have caregivers who may need additional support. Homemaker and Home Health Aide services are provided through organizations contracted with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and may serve as an alternative to nursing home care or provide respite care for family caregivers.

Angel Visiting Hands LLC is committed to helping Veterans receive the care they deserve while allowing them to remain safely in their homes and communities.

How Veterans May Qualify for Home Care

Some Veterans may qualify for Homemaker and Home Health Aide services through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Eligibility is typically determined by the VA based on the Veteran's health care needs and enrollment in VA health services.

Enrolled in VA Health Care

Veterans must be enrolled in VA health services to be considered for homemaker and home health aide benefits.

Assistance with Daily Living

Need help with bathing, dressing, mobility, or other activities of daily living.

Health Conditions

Have health conditions that make independent living more difficult.

Caregiver Support Needed

Caregivers may need additional support or respite care.
A VA care coordinator or social worker typically evaluates the Veteran's needs and helps determine eligibility for services. At Angel Visiting Hands LLC, we are happy to guide families through the process and help them understand how to access available Veteran care services.
