Homemaker & Home Health Aide Care for Veterans

Homemaker and Home Health Aide Care provides in-home support for Veterans who need assistance with personal care and daily living activities. At Angel Visiting Hands, our trained caregivers help Veterans remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes while receiving the support they need.

Although Homemakers and Home Health Aides are not nurses, their services are supervised by a registered nurse who helps assess each Veteran’s needs and ensures the appropriate level of care is provided. This program is designed for Veterans who need help with everyday activities, may feel isolated, or have caregivers who need additional support. These services are provided through organizations contracted with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and can serve as an alternative to nursing home care or provide respite care for Veterans and their families.
